Someday

Someday I will have a nativity set without the heads knocked off.  And those white couches I've been drooling over.  However, I know all too well how fast the todays go and how soon someday will be here, so for now I'll ignore the hole knocked in the drywall, the fork gouges in the table, the incomplete set of dishes and the stains on the couches and just enjoy my babies.  Atleast I have to tell myself that so I don't get too mad when I see my 2 old day throw pillows being used as a kleenex.

I have to remind myself of this too. It's so easy to get caught up on the little things that don't really matter. I've really been trying to just let go of some things and enjoy motherhood more. Thanks for the reminder:)

This picture makes me laugh. It reminds me of your mom's nativities. She has them all over the place and I think only one set is complete without any missing pieces. We all wonder why she kept the outdoor one last year with a bandaid on Jesus' head to keep it from falling off and the discolored other ones, but I guess it's a family tradition! Haha, this is fun :)

LOL.

Hey now. At least you own a nativity. Every year I say I'm gonna get one but never make the effort or see one I really like. Crappy of me.

P.S. My Christus statue that Jer's mom bought me has all his fingers missing. :( can't decide if its more irreverent to keep it up or not.
