Twenty-nine
I decided I'm kind of a bratt on my birthdays. I need to lower my expectations and realize that laundry still needs to be done, groceries still need to be bought, carpools still need to be driven, kids still fight, the baby still cries, the house still needs to be cleaned and life doesn't stop just because it's my birthday. The day was a pretty normal day (except for the phone calls, cards and treats from fam and friends--thanks!) but we did go to dinner when Jason got back from work and the kids got me some cute presents. Once Jayden started school the next day I took advantage and went clothes shopping then went out for a b-day lunch with some friends. They're so great, thanks girls and thanks Marcee for organizing it! So another year and another birthday come and gone...

Happy Birthday Jamie! And to Jayden too!
Seriously, at least I'm not the only one with serious birthday expectations. But it sounded like it met my criteria alright--good food and shopping!
I totally thought of you and Jayden during the move. I'm glad both of you had a wonderful birthday.
I have high expectations on my birthday too....its only one day!! Happy Birthday!!
