Will You Go to Prom With Me?

I know that most people probably dread the annual company Christmas party, but I have seriously been so excited. I haven't had an excuse to get dressed up since prom and a chance to hang out with my honey doing something other than dinner and a movie (and of course a Home Depot or Wal-mart run)--count me in! We seriously had such a fun night and we were laughing about how we felt like we were at prom again. It was held at a nice hotel/resort where we were served a fancy dinner then had dancing. I convinced Jason to dance with me for a slow song and bust a move for one fast song, but after that he was done. So you better believe I went out their with the single chicks and tore it up on the dance floor! I hope I didn't emberass you too much, babe :) It was such a fun night and they even had a photographer there to take pictures, just like the prom days. All that was missing was a whoppin' huge wrist coursage. Maybe next year...

PS-in the picture on the top right I know that it looks like I've got sweat rings or something by my arm, but my "underclothing" was showing, so I tried using a black marker to cover it up and instead it looks like I have a little persperation problem, oops! Oh, and I can't talk about prom without posting some back-in-the-day pics!

How FUN! No, you're not the only one who likes the company parties...who wouldn't like to get dressed up, go on a date & be served a free delicious meal! Wow, but I've never danced at one nor scored sweet prom pics! Oh well no more company parties for me anymore, so I will live through you! Love the dress and where did you get such a necklace :)

How fun! isn't it fun to get to be full blown grown-ups sans the kids every once in awhile? I love that you got to reenact prom all over again--I must say that you both have aged very well (that makes it sound like you're like 70 yrs old...) and look better at this prom :-). Jamie--you looked beautiful. What a fun night!

You are too cute! I love how excited you look in your picture! If I looked as cute as you do in a "little black dress" I'd be excited to go to the company party too. Glad you had a great time. Cute shoes too!

I don't know what you're talking about with the sweat rings crazy girl. That sounds like so much fun. I would love to do that. We missed Nate's party on account that Isaac had thrown up on me four times that day! Love you guys!

You are so funny! I'm glad you guys had a good time. Dave would never have danced either. Maybe we need to hit some clubs the next time we are together to loosen them up.

Jason looks like he is 13 in the old prom picture! You however look the same age...seriously. You look fabulous. Who would ever guess you had two children????

Oh, I forgot to ask...what happened to growing your hair out? It looks great the way it is cut, I just remember you saying you were growing it out. Easier said than done right?

Ah yes, the hair. It seems like every couple years I get this great idea to grow my hair out. How easily I forget that my hair is too thin to grow out and ends up looking whispy and stringy. Ugg. I just get sick of the same hairstyle all of the time, but there's not a whole lot of options for short hair. Anyways, gotta love hair drama :)

I feel your thin, stringy, flat, short hair pain. What's a girl to do but wait for the next life when we will be rewarded for all our good deeds with long, luxurious, silky, smooth hair cascading down our backs!!

You've been busy!
Oh, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who went to prom without full sleeves and a bolero.
Glad you had a great Thanksgiving.

You looked way to hot! I love the nice touch of your leg in the air! You guys are cute! You're lucky you even got your man on the dance floor, Chris avoids it like the plague!
