The beginning of a love story

This is what I needed.  This is what we all needed.  After dragging the kids around doing the necessary evils like setting up bank accounts and tax ID's and driving by potential houses, we found ourselves at the beach.  And it just so happened to be the stuff dreams are made of.  All my apprehensions were washed away with those crashing waves. So what if we live in a land void of Targets, we've got this right in our back yard.  The best part is, the kids got it.  They got the reason why we wanted to move here and for the first time they were actually excited about it.  And this is where our two year love affair officially begins.

The park next to the beach was just the cherry on top.  It was awesome, to say the least. The zip line was a fan favorite, and as I sat back and soaked in the scene it really hit me for the first time...this is home.

Eeee! You're there and starting to love it! And the kids too!!! I'm so excited! I can't believe all THAT, is right there. Your new home! I'm sure it was hard to trade in the swimming suits for coats, but dang, ya'll look so cute!!! Seriously you're whole family could be on the cover of "International NZ Families". I love you all so much and miss those cute smiles:) Thanks for the diligent up dates! Hope you find a place to live soon:)

It's supposed to be 118 here in Gilbert. How's that for a cherry on top?!:) There are a few magic things in life...babies, puppies, and the beach. They make everything feel better. Lovin' your love story:)

AHHHH!!!! I've been thinking about you guys nonstop & can't believe you already have all these posts! Well, I can believe it I guess. What a cool adventure. I'm so excited to keep up here & ill have more to comment on later but I'm on my phone & summer list is calling...oh, and just last night my new neighbor was outside so I was anxious to meet him. They're from Christchurch! And yes, coolest accent ever. Please pick that up ASAP. And force it on the kids as well. Just imagine the babies talking like that...I can't even.

Yea! I'm so excited for you guys! NZ ice cream is the best, and hopefully cheaper than it is over here. And didn't it feel so good to get rid of so much of your stuff for the move? I feel like we need to move soon because our house is filling up with too much crap. anyways, have you gotten a magicjack? or do you prefer Skype? let's get in touch soon since we're close to the same time zone I think. message me your number on facebook.

btw, I've tried leaving this comment a few times, so sorry if it's a repeat.

Awww the beach always makes everything better. You guys will have such amazing memories from this adventure and I'm sure it will bond you as a family in a way nothing else can. We moved a lot as a family and each time we did my siblings and I would get closer and closer because, for a while, we only had each other. Good times ahead!
