Christmas in July

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the mood is so delightful because hale-freakin-lujah, we finally got our shipment from the US. The kids have toys and I no longer have to use a butter knife to cut potatoes. We celebrated by taking their ripsticks to the skate park across the street (which I didn't realize graffiti encouraging drug use existed in Mayberry.  Andy Griffith better get right on that). Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night (which we'll definately all have a much better night now that we have actual real bedding, 'cause heaven knows those Kmart single fleece blankets just weren't cutting it).

Hooray! In every picture so far in NZ it looks like you have the whole place to yourselves! The kids look happy. And older already.

Yeehaw! That is awesome! And they look SO cool on their ripsticks. I love the skate park/graffiti vibe.
