I love the modified year round school and we've all been looking forward to spending a fun fall break together. I wish we could have taken a trip somewhere, but my fear of delivering a baby on the side of the freeway was enough to keep us home bound. I tried finding some fun things to keep the kids busy, and as proof that we didn't spend the entire break vegging in front of the tv in our pajamas all day or breaking up fights, here's some of the fun things we've done: trips to the library, meeting dad for lunch at the splash park, getting together with neighbors for a night of kickball at the park, family bike rides, movie and pizza parties, cheering dad on at his softball games, backyard camping, playdates with friends, going to the dollar theater to watch "Kung Fu Panda", lunch with friends at Chic-fil-a, family game nights, swimming (yes, it's October), Chuck E Cheese, snuggling up for breakfast and reading books in bed, sleepovers (the kids love moving their beds and having sleepovers together, which has become a friday night tradition, so they were beyond excited when I told them that they could have sleepovers everynight during the break), decorating Halloween cookies, getting together with friends to root on BYU, and visiting the farm(we heard that it was free admission today and apparently so did the rest of Maricopa county. It was sooo crowded, but atleast the kids had fun). It will be nice getting back into a schedule, but I really have enjoyed spending these last two weeks with Kylie and Jayden. It's definately going to be different once they have to share my attention, so being able to spend this one on one time with them was exactly what we needed.

Good for you on keepieng your kids so busy during fall break. Looks like fun. Steve tried the camping in the backyard with our kid last night but between the wind, rain, and freezing temps, they were back inside by midnight!
What a busy break for you!! I am jealous about the swimming....it's SNOWING here right now!!
as always you packed in so much fun and how perfect that you got to enjoy one last break with just Jayden and Kylie. I am going to steal some of your shots since I wasn't to photo minded at that glorious farm!
wow, swimming and splash parks in October? We went to the pumpking patch this morning and there was frost on the pumpkins...
You did all that AND while you are 9 months pregnant, wow! What a fun Mom you are!!
Holy cow! You are one busy (very)pregnant lady! I can't believe everything that you've packed in, especially considering your delicate condition:) I don't see how you could have even fit in any vegging in front of the TV time. You're such a wonderful mom!
