Eleven Months
Oh my little man. I am so in love with this age. Even though he does get into everything now that he crawls, I love that he is so content just roaming around the house finding things to entertain himself. My other kids had to always be in the same room as me and were constantly crawling right under my feet and pulling on my leg to be held, but this little guy is different. He ventures all around on his own (it is nice having older kids because they are much more entertaining to follow than me. I especially love when Kylie takes him up to her room to play for hours). Although he does have certain terms and conditions that I must follow. He can come and go as he pleases but I'm not allowed to leave the room without his consent. He loves crawling up the stairs but once he gets up there he stands at the rail yelling at us to come take him back down, then inevitably he crawls right back up and the fun never ends. He can hear the fridge or dishwasher open a mile away and is there in a matter of seconds to see what damage he can do. He hates the car and screams as soon as I open the door. He hates getting his diaper changed and I'm constantly chasing after his poopy little bum as he crawls away faster than I can clean him. He loves yarn (he takes after his mom) and has to hold it all throughout the store. If I try to take it away or put it back he throws the mother of all tantrums but quits as soon as I give it back to him. I'm constantly apologizing to the cashiers when they have to ring up slobbery yarn. If you tell him to do "soft" then he'll rub his chubby little fingers on your cheek. He does his "Chinese eyes" and squints his face all up. Oh he's a keeper, those chubby cheeks, slobbery chin, little pouty lips and the cutest belly laughs....definately a keeper.

The "soft" and "chinese eyes" are my favorite! I love that I got to see them in person!!! I love this boy and the deep never-to-be-broken-no-matter-how-long-we-go-between-visits bond that we now have. He is definitely a keeper! Give him a big hug and kiss from his favorite aunt Nessa!

I still can't believe he is almost a year and I haven't gotten to hold that sweet little boy! He really is a keeper, but all your kids are, they are beauties!

haha, slobbery yarn. Kosty always hated the car too...it made my life so stressful I swear! I hated going anywhere! He would scream the whole time. Thank heavens it passes.

He is SO dang cute.
