Pinetop

We got home from Utah long enough to unpack, do laundry then pack up again. I headed up to Pinetop in search of cooler weather. Jason had to work and Kylie stayed back to hang out with Jayci who had come down with my dad. They joined us that weekend, but before they came I had fun just hanging out with the boys exploring new places. We went to the park, took a short hot hike on the interpretive rim trail, went crawdad fishing with hot dogs, did some target shooting with Maddox's airsoft gun in the woods, went to the movies to see Incredibles 2, visited the Farmer's Market, went swimming at the rec center, checked out a museum that exceeded our expectations with the coolest miniature train display. We spent the days outside and the evenings watching movies and playing games. It was perfect.

When Jason and the girls came up we had a BBQ on the deck, went in search of a hiking trail that hadn't been closed due to wildfires, made flower crowns, ate ice cream at the general store in Greer and got yelled at from the HOA president for being too loud during game nights. It's been a year since we bought this condo and I love having it as a place to escape and spend time together as a family.
