The Young and the Restless

Pure joy 

Fall came early this year. The tree out my kitchen window turned a vibrant yellow in mid December instead of the usual late January. And those leaves provided hours of entertainment and enough smiles that can get me through any day. Days where you spend hours making dinner, only to have them leaning over the garbage can gagging because they think it's disgusting. Days where they're crying over sharing goo they made in preschool. Days where their play fight turns to real fight and they cry for what seems like an eternity. Days when you think they will never be friends again. Yes, pictures like these are made to look back on when I have days like today.  Being a mom is tough, some days are much harder than others, but I wouldn't change it for anything.
