Okay, so it's not much now, but I'm definately working on it! I never did the progressive belly shots with my other pregnancies and always wish I did, so this time around you guys get to endure lots of bare belly exposure (I apologize in advance). It's funny because they say you take tons of pictures with your first and none by the third, but thanks to the blog I think I'm going to have way more pictures and journaling with this one than my other two combined! So here I am at 14 weeks and counting....
Okay, quick question for the ladies (well I'm assuming--and hoping--that everyone reading this is a lady).....I heard before of some herbal stuff that helps milk production. Anybody know of any? I've never been able to produce very much milk and I'm hoping that if I can do something about it then maybe my boobs will actually grow! :)

Okay you cute little skinny thing where is the baby bump!!!
Oh, I wish I had such a little tummy and I'm not preggos! You're adorable! I wish I could help you in the herbal thing. I always made lots of milk, and my boobs did grow, but not too much. Like maybe workin' a B cup when nursing... It's all good though. I've never had boob-envy. :)
Umm...I have a way bigger belly and I'm not even pregnant AND I haven't had a baby in 3 1/2 years! Good for you! I heard Marshmellow root and (can't remember the name of the other) works great. One for quantity and the other for quality. I will find out for you. I tried both and they helped a ton. However, my OB told me NOT to expose the baby to any herbs. I ignored him but everyone has their own opinions obviously. By the way, thanks for being such a good preschool teacher to Lukey. Also for keeping me motivated in step classes! Hope you come more often so I don't feel like a loner in there singing Air Supply and The Carpenters along with our instructor :).

I'm just now catching up on your fun filled life! You look amazing skinny mini. It's so fun to see what you've been up to. See ya!
Really? What bump Jamie? I had three and my tummy is totally a muffin top! And it looked like that after I had the second child too! Okay seriously! You are killing me! Not even fair!:) Okay when you find out about the herbal stuff for the boob thingy ask if it helps out just flat chested women too who are not prego. Thanks.
Im sorry to tell you, there is no bump, in fact I think the belly is going opposite of the way it should for the production of a child. Are you really pregnant???
Looks like a great trip with the girlfriends too. Bill said he saw your hubby taking that picture of the "potty in the woods". I told him Im gonna send the camera with him next time and see what blogging pictures he can come up with.
What are you talking about? I am so not seeing a bump. Thanks for making all of us non-preggies jealous though:) You seriously look amazing! Maybe I'll have to try your cereal only diet. I'm glad you're planning on updating us with belly shots. The blog is the next best thing to being there, right? You're so cute! I love you tons!
I had tons of milk with my first two babies but the emotional ups and downs and stress of having a baby in the NICU really played games with my milk production this time. I also didn't have a little one sucking on my boobs- just a stupid pump for the first 10 weeks. So I consulted the NICU lactation ladies many times. The first thing they told me to do is called power pumping. I don't know if you have a pump but this worked very well for me: pump (or nurse) for 10 minutes, stop for 10 minutes, pump for 10, stop for 10 then pump for 10- takes a total of 50 minutes and do that once a day, I noticed a huge difference after just 2 days. That adds three additional feedings per day just scrunched right around the same time, does that make sense? Also the herb they told me to take and I still take every day is called Fenugreek Seed- 610 mg. Take 1-2 capsules three times a day. That should help increase your milk supply. Look it up online because there are some precautions with taking it- like with asthmatics I think. One weird thing is that it makes you smell a little like maple syrup. Natural deodorant, huh!? j/k
My sister is a huge herb girl and works at Hi-Health and she says the Fenugreek is the best. Marshmallow makes your milk sweeter if you have a baby that doesn't nurse well. My suggestion about making your boobs bigger is to take a picture of them right when your milk first comes in and show it to a plastic surgeon and tell him you want to look like that forever! hahaha!
Not seeing the bump!! I only wish my tummy looked like yours did at 14 weeks and counting! Seriously!!! You are tiny!! Sorry I can't help you with the milk and boob question!
Oh, SO funny, I agree with Cari about the photo! Good one!!
And, what bump? :) My advice on the milk is eat & drink a freaking TON!! It works! I'm sure I've told you but I was ravenous, I also drank water every 2 seconds. I do think there is a genetic thing with milk production, so some people can't control it to a certain degree.
uh where? I don't see it!
And for the milk, we both know that size doesn't matter! I didn't produce anything either- as you know, from our very first moments in the mothers lounge! However, what little milk I did have, was thanks to the Fenugreek that someone mentioned above. It did help a little for me. Good luck!
Jamie - you look even skinnier than you did before the girls trip. I'm just going to roll back onto my couch and eat some potato chips. :)
I meant "on" not before. oops.
Okay I hate you. Seriously - baby bump? Yeah right! Okay, I don't hate you, but my stomache sticks out farther than that before I even get pregnant.....like right now for instance! Ava is almost two and my tummy is still pooching! You better watch your back! I'm bringing you cheesecake! Lots and lots of cheesecake! :-)
Ok, you look so good for being pregnant with your third child. I remember when I was about 14 weeks pregnant with Tyler and you told me I was showing and I was embarassed to be showing so soon since my baby was the size of a pea. But my stomach really did just pop out more and sooner after each child. I am better with each child about the documenting and I always took pictures of me pregnant, my boys get so excited when I show them the book that I have of my pregnancy and their first year.
I think the herb is called fenugreek. Google it.
What is that? Seriously, what is that Jamie? All I see...is a way cute girl with a 6 pack for abs. I still love you but ummm...at almost 9 months right now - I am coveting your nice, cute, flat tummy. You look fantastic!!
Hi again- Jamie, my mom is a lactation consultant, and she's here with me. I asked her about fenugreek. She says to get some at the health store and take two tablets three times a day.
BTW, how did you get so skinny and toned? I'm jealous!
are you sucking in? I am glad you are feeling better :) Milk- My mom always tells me about brewers yeast and that f stuff- it will make you gush milk- Remember our talk in Fl- I'd rather be small and perky that small and droopy - pick your battles
Fenugreek- Chuck the lactation specialist, and no he's not gay, highly recommended it to me. Works like a charm!
I do great with milk production and nursing until about 4 months and then I lose my milk. With Lauren I was under a lot of stress and started loosing it around 2 months and I wasn't ready to let go so I had my Dr. Prescribe me something. I will get you the name of that, and in addition I took Fenugreek. It helped although I didn't particularly like the smell of the pill and I had a hard time getting it down. I have wierd smell issues.
I did finally get tired of popping pills for 2 months and gave up nursing at my 4 month mark but it helped while I faithfully took it...
Jamie...I wish my tummy looked like yours...and I've had four months to recover from having a baby. Congratulations, by the way!
